Kartell chair, AI model
From the collaboration of Philippe Starck and Kartell comes the first design chair created entirely through artificial intelligence. Thanks to Autodesk software capable of generating prototypes, Starck's style and design was reworked with the aim of creating a plastic chair using as little material as possible.
The result is a durable and versatile chair with armrests made of 100% recycled technopolymer .
The soft touch treatment is applied in the colors white, black, green, orange and grey. For the bronze and titanium colors the effect is metallic.
The use of this material makes the AI chair resistant to atmospheric agents and therefore also perfect for outdoor use.
Design by Philippe Starck.

Discover the brand
For over fifty years, Kartell has lived in our homes with objects with an unmistakable personality. Starting in 1949, founded by Giulio Castelli, it pushed towards the renewal of everyday objects by introducing design elements in a then new material, plastic.
Today Kartell objects tell a very long story, written by the people who use them, the company that produces them strictly in Italy, and by the designers who design their shapes.
Kartell chairs, tables, accessories and furnishings link memory and future furnishing projects. Iconic lines go along with projects that break the mold, signed by prestigious Italian and international designers. And the materials embrace new philosophies: recycling, sustainability and environmental protection, with the aim of 100% green production by 2030.
