Kartell swivel chair, Comback model.
This made in Italy chair is the modern reinterpretation of a great English classic, the Windsor chair. Conceived in the 18th century as a chair for use in the countryside and becoming a design icon thanks to its shape and structure. The original version was made of wood, while Comback by Patricia Urquiola uses modern materials, technopolymer and steel.
The backrest is made up of a 7-tooth structure, which widens towards the footrest, and is joined to the seat via a horizontal band from which vertical radial shafts emerge. Perfect for recreating atmospheres inspired by the past, elegant and classic, but with an eye always to the future.
The dimensions of the chair are (L x W x H): 58 x 59 x 99 cm; seat height 46 cm; armrest height 64 cm.

For over fifty years, Kartell has lived in our homes with objects with an unmistakable personality. Starting in 1949, founded by Giulio Castelli, it pushed towards the renewal of everyday objects by introducing design elements in a then new material, plastic.
Today Kartell objects tell a very long story, written by the people who use them, the company that produces them strictly in Italy, and by the designers who design their shapes.
Kartell chairs, tables, accessories and furnishings link memory and future furnishing projects. Iconic lines go along with projects that break the mold, signed by prestigious Italian and international designers. And the materials embrace new philosophies: recycling, sustainability and environmental protection, with the aim of 100% green production by 2030.
