Product warranty conditions

For private customers, all items are covered by a 24-month legal guarantee for defects of conformity. For some items or brands, the manufacturer offers a longer guarantee, indicated on the product page.

For detailed information on the warranty conditions, read the General Conditions of Sale. We remind you that in order to benefit from the warranty coverage, it is necessary to keep all the original packaging of the products for the entire duration of the legal warranty.

Replacement for transport damage

Replacement conditions

In the event that the packaging is damaged during transport upon delivery, you can request the replacement of any damaged products or components.

In order to open the replacement procedure it is essential:

  • Upon delivery, accept the goods "with reasoned reservation of inspection" (read the instructions on this page)
  • Please check the items for damage within 5 days of delivery. If you have checked more than 5 days after the collection date, we cannot accept claims for damage in transit.
  • Keep all original packaging in which you received the goods (including external boxes, pallets and wooden crates).

You can only claim a replacement for transport damage if all three of these conditions are met.

We cannot accept claims for damage in transit if you have inspected the goods more than 5 days after the collection date.

Procedure for claiming damages

Write an email to info@sediarreda.com with the following information:

  • Order or invoice number
  • Copy of the collection receipt
  • Detailed description of the damage
  • Photos and, if applicable, videos of the packaging and damaged goods.

After the necessary checks, we will contact you to evaluate the replacement of the damaged product or components. We will ship them free of charge with standard curbside delivery.

Any additional services paid for at the time of ordering (delivery to the floor and/or assembly) are not included in the replacement.

Replacement or repair for manufacturing defects

The legal guarantee covers any manufacturing defects that appear within two years of the delivery date (for further details on the coverage of the legal guarantee, also read the General Conditions of Sale).

In the event that during regular and appropriate use of the furniture, manufacturing defects emerge, send a request to info@sediarreda.com indicating:

  • Order or invoice number
  • Detailed description of the defect
  • Photos and/or videos of the goods and packaging

After the necessary checks, we will send the request for warranty replacement of the product or defective parts to the manufacturer. We will ship the replacement material free of charge to the address you indicate, with standard curbside delivery.

At the same time, we will give you instructions for returning or disposing of the replaced items.

Right of withdrawal

Online sales are subject to Legislative Decree no. 206 of 6/9/2005 (articles 64,65,66,67,68) which provides for the possibility for the buyer to exercise the right of withdrawal, satisfaction or reimbursement.

Conditions for withdrawal

If the quality of the products does not meet your expectations, you have the right to return them and request a refund within 14 days of delivery . In order to request a return, the items must be perfectly intact in all their parts and correctly packaged. You can return them exclusively in their original packaging, which must also be complete in all their parts.

For highly customized and/or Made to Order products, limitations on the right of withdrawal may apply.

Extra Services - Extension of the right of withdrawal to 30 days

For some products, the right of withdrawal is extended to 30 days, indicated on the product sheet. Where not specified, please refer to the general information on the right of withdrawal.

Procedure to follow

To exercise the right of withdrawal, send an email to info@sediarreda.com indicating:

  • The order or invoice number
  • Code and quantity of the items you wish to return
  • Declaration of intent to withdraw from the purchase
  • Bank details for refund.

How to return goods

Following your request, we will send you by email the withdrawal code to indicate on the packaging when returning the product.

The cost of returning the items is your responsibility, as is the choice of courier to whom you will entrust the return. Alternatively, you can personally return the items to our office.

The products must be perfectly intact and packaged.

We reserve the right to accept with reservation or reject items returned in ways other than those indicated.

We do not accept returns with cash on delivery or without a return code. For more details, see the General Conditions of Sale.

Refund methods and times

The right of withdrawal includes the refund of the order amount and shipping costs. Any additional services (delivery to the floor, assembly service) and collection costs for cash on delivery payments are not refunded.

As soon as we receive the returned items, we will check them to assess their integrity and proceed with the refund of the amount paid.

If the goods show signs of use, missing parts or damage due to assembly and/or use, we will contact you to inform you of the outcome of the return. In this case we reserve the right to make a partial refund to cover any costs of restoring the material.

Refunds are normally processed within 10 business days of verification.
